About Me
My name is Latisha and I am the Sole Proprietor of Fat Girl Day Exclusive. I am the proud single parent to my daughter Brandis, hold an MBA, and possess over 20 years of experience within Corporate America.
What I have come to realize is that, much like most women, I have spent most of my adult life sacrificing my time, talents and heart to benefit someone other than myself and my family. Back in 2015, I found myself learning to embrace “Me Days”, but oftentimes I spent the next day feeling guilty that I had overspent, overeaten, or overindulged. After a while, I began to question why, despite working so hard, I couldn’t make the innocent decision to indulge without feeling guilty. I know that many women feel the same.

Fast forward to 2018, and the idea of “Fat Girl Day” was born. For me, “Fat Girl Day” represented my day to indulge in whatever I choose on a regular basis, guilt-free. I started sharing my Fat Girl Days with those closest to me, explaining my new approach to life and my message behind the name, “Fat Girl Day”.

Surprisingly, both women and men within my professional and personal circles commended me for having the courage to take such an approach and own it. Some felt empowered to schedule their very own “Fat Girl Days” by making a conscious decision to make space for themselves within their lives and indulge.

The COVID-19 pandemic was just the catalyst I needed to bring the idea of Fat Girl Day Exclusive to fruition. Fat Girl Day Exclusive – a line of quality apparel items featuring the “Fat Girl Day” trademark – will launch in December of 2021, and I invite all hard-working women to let go of the guilt by giving themselves license to indulge in whatever they choose, and make it a regular thing.
